Welcome to Toronto!
Dear R.A.
First off, welcome to Toronto. I’ve been a season ticket holder up in the nosebleeds for some years now, but can truly say (on behalf of my small but immediate sample size) we’re thrilled you’ve decided to join the Blue Jays.
I’ve read your book and must also congratulate you (and Wayne) for putting together a terrific and real read.
Anyways, based on the snippets of interviews/media that you’ve done of late, I've ascertained what I think are a few of your general interests (food, culture, nerdisms etc). As a result, I’ve put together a few places in-and-around Toronto (mainly in proximity to the Rogers Centre) that may be of interest to you and yours.
These are but a few of the great places in town. I hope (and think) you’ll come to love all the culture and community this city has to offer.
I know you’ve grown accustomed to moving around over the years and getting used to discovering new places. As a result, the list below is likely not required, but I figured as a native Torontonian and a (stereotypical?) Canadian, I’d provide some friendly recommendations.
Good luck this year. I’m looking forward to it!
